More info here:Cabernet Sauvignon.  A great elegant wine of limited production, one of the prides of our winery. Ñeque comes from Cauquenes, an area of the oldest plantations in Chile, 24 kms. from the Pacific, in the coastal mountain range. 6 X 750 cc bottle case for $ 388.73.

Pairing

Enjoy with all types of red meats, especially lamb and game, also excellent with strong and creamy cheeses. Serve between 16°C and 18°C.

COMMENTS OF THE OENOLOGIST

Bright dark red colour. In the nose it is an intense, complex and elegant wine, where black fruits, spices and cassis complement the tobacco notes given by its long ageing. On the palate it is a concentrated wine, with personality, a fat entry, and an aftertaste with notes of dried plums, cherries and smooth chocolate. A wine with a fruity and persistent finish.

VINIFICATION

The grapes were harvested and selected by hand. A cold maceration was done for three days at 5ºC. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks at 26ºC with selected yeasts. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in French oak barrels and the wine was aged for a total of eighteen months.
