Site: With more than 50 thousand hectares planted, the Maule is the largest wine region in Chile and within the valley, the dry land of the Maule is one of the sectors that most characterize this area. It has a perfect water balance due to winter rains, so the vine generally grows without irrigation. This characteristic made it the place chosen by the first winegrowers more than 400 years ago. Today these vineyards, with their centuries-old roots, are a living heritage.

The Comavida Vineyard lies at the foot of a southern slope facing slightly to the east, providing a cooler climate which leads to accelerated decomposition of the mother rock, creating excellent drainage and permeable soil. The soil is silty clay, dark brown and reddish in color.

Grapes: 58% Cariñena and 42% Garnacha, from vines over 100 years old,

Fermentation and Aging: Fermented with native yeasts and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Notes: Sabático expresses all the freshness and sweetness of Garnacha, combined with the elegance and volume in the mouth that Cariñena brings.
