Tasting Notes:
Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir.
Geographic Area: Leyda Valley.
Winemaking: The grapes were manually harvested and selected, then subjected to a cold maceration for twelve hours. The must was then fermented with selected yeast in stainless steel tanks at 26ºC, followed by a malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. The wine was oak-aged for a total of eight months.
Winemaker’s comments: Bright red color. An expressive and fresh wine with dominant red fresh fruits, raspberries and cherries which are easily appreciated on the nose. On the palate, it is a light juicy wine with amicable tannins and floral notes, red fruits and some spices hints. An elegant wine with a fresh and soft finish.
Food Pairings: This wine pairs well with sushi, vegetarian dishes and non-oily fish. Best served at between 14ºC – 16ºC.
Cellaring Recommendations: Five to six years.
